In our pursuit of proving our Sires, two of listed semen bulls R009 and S005 are within the cohort for 2 and 3 of the Australian Wagyu Progeny Test Project. We believe the PTP is a fantastic opportunity to put our genetics to the test amongst the collective.

Sunnyside Q540 is sired by CC0FG0113 over a SMOFF0126 dam, this combination resulting in a very complete carcase sire. His marbling EBV is in the top 1% of the breed, EMA in the top 5%, his is a true carcase sire, then throw in his low birth weight and gestation length, if you are looking for a bulls to lift carcase traits in a fullblood herd or breeding bulls suitable for F1 production, Q540 must be considered. This bull has already been an investment in some leading Australian herds, with considerable progeny on the ground.

PSKFR009
Sunnyside PSKFR0009 is a son of the superstar CCOFG0113, who is easily one of the top proven carcase sires in Australia. Out of the dam PSKFK0090 who herself goes back to Michifuku and Terutani 40/1. It is important to note the maternal grandsire CCOFZ0116 boosts proven accuracy for all EBVs, which supports PSKFR0009s carcase weight and maternal traits, including growth and milk.
Phenotypically this bull is impressive and is in the top 1% for all indexes reflective of very balanced EBVs. Starting with a below average birth weight, he has above average growth traits and milk. With carcase weight top 10%, EMA top 15% and marbling in top 1%. PSKFR0009 would be well suited to any enterprise from F1 producer to the savvy self replacing fullblood herd. This sire is loaded with carcase potential, being a son of Arubial Bond 007, out of PSKFP0369 who’s sire Y408 is a well proven carcase sire by a dam who has provided our herd with progeny that have great growth, fertility and carcase results with her last carcase progeny scoring MS 9 and 400+kg carcase.
PSKFS0005 has great carcase potential with EMA and MS in the top 1 percentile and above average carcase weight. Though still providing average growth and above average milk.
PSKFS0005 is free of all known genetic disorders, as far as carcase sires go he as all the makings of an animal who will perform.

Sunnyside N123
PSKFN0123
This bull is by the well known Westholme B39, out of a cow of ours by TF147. She has had some excellent results when used as a donor, while showing strong maternal traits. N123 has fathered some excellent heifers who have been added comfortably to our self replacing full blood herd. With progeny on feed due out this year, and feedback on a full brother averaging MS8 and +400kg carcase weight. We have a lot of confidence using him over our fullblood cows, and feel he would add great balance across any self replacing herd.

There are limited opportunities to diversify a herd from the mainstream pedigree lines of the foundation sires. Semen from this bull offers significant value to any herd as a leading sire of the progeny from the foundation sire Itozurodoi, with no lineage to Itoshigenami and very minimal from Michifuku.

This Bull is a very exciting bull out of the legendary Macquarie Y408. His sire is renowned as one of the best high-value carcase producing bulls of our time. his gives P354 strong EBV accuracy for carcase traits, with the addition of his strong EBV’s for growth makes him a well balanced bull. Phenotypically, P354 supports his EBV’s for growth, always being a standout weaner bull, and his progeny for the most part are showing similar growth traits. He is a well-balanced all-round bull. He can comfortably be used as a maternal sire, and will be equally useful as a terminal sire.
His dam PSKFD0033 has some great Carcase data from her progeny for Marbling. These genetics offer an excellent blend of all the traits that determine both quality and profitability.
